Almar Suites - Hotel Management System
Project Overview
This project is a web-based booking management system designed for frontdesk staff to manage hotel reservations, room status, and housekeeping workflow in one dashboard.
The goal was to create a simple and fast interface that helps staff monitor bookings, update room status, and handle guest check-in and check-out without confusion.
My Role
UI/UX Designer
🎯 Problem
Small hotel operations often rely on manual tracking, making it difficult to know which rooms are available, occupied, or being cleaned.
Frontdesk staff need a system that shows real-time status and allows quick actions like booking, checkout, and sending rooms to housekeeping.
Goal
Design a clean dashboard that allows users to:
Add and manage bookings
Track room availability
Handle check-in and check-out
Send rooms to housekeeping
View room status in real time
💡 Solution
Built a role-based Hotel Management System (HMS) with:
A clear unified dashboard
Role-specific workflows for Front Desk and Admin
Centralized bookings, room status, guest lists, payments, and reporting
Problem
Manual booking, room tracking, and reporting caused delays, errors, and poor visibility across hotel operations.
Analyzed front desk and admin workflows to define user roles, needs, and operational bottlenecks.
Designed a centralized, role-based system to connect bookings, rooms, guests, staff, and payments in one flow.
Applied Almar Suites branding with clear, data-focused layouts built for daily operational use.
Created interactive booking and management flows to validate usability before development.
Test
Allowed front desk and admin staff to test the system and provide feedback for usability and workflow improvements.
